1) Abstract

The report presents the results of the study which aimed at comparing multicultural media, NGO-related media and ‘mainstream’ media in terms of the routines of newsmaking, content of their news and the extent to which they contribute to promoting diversity. The analysis was based on the observations of the coverage by these media of three different types of news: intercultural news in general, an international event and a national event.
